What’s that, another award shortlist? In fact, it’s five! We’re over the moon to announce we’ve been shortlisted for another five awards at the 2024 EU Search Awards – this time for our stellar performance in SEO and search.

Of course, we’re proud the work we produce for our clients is recognised. But we’re even prouder of our amazing team and all the hard work they put in day in, day out. These shortlists are a testament to our agency and everyone who makes TrunkBBI, TrunkBBI.

By increasing SEO client retention, delivering outstanding organic search results, and becoming a market-leading agency with expert AI knowledge.

Our SEO strategies have sparked significant organic growth for clients in various sectors, highlighted by our work with Halfords, Uswitch, and Gallagher.

For Gallagher, we boosted market share for their motor trade insurance across three websites. They saw a 69.9% increase in organic sessions and a 171% rise in lead generation. We also raised Halford’s tyre category’s market share, achieving up to 89.5% growth in organic clicks.

But that’s not all. We reinvented our SEO strategy with ‘Purposeful Performance’ at its core, directly aligning with clients’ objectives. This approach has led to a 95% client retention rate, a 63% increase in active clients, and over 50% growth in retained revenue. We’ve also achieved an outstanding 82% pitch win rate.

That’s why we’ve been shortlisted for ‘Best Large SEO Agency’ and ‘Best Large Integrated Search Agency’.

Driving digital success with Halfords

You might’ve seen us talking about Halfords recently. We won ‘Best SEO Campaign of the Year’ with Halfords at the end of 2023. And now, we’re shortlisted for another three awards:

  • ‘Best SEO campaign’
  • ‘Best use of search – automotive’
  • ‘Best use of search – retail/e-commerce’

Halfords wanted to target all UK motorists looking to buy tyres, ranging from knowledgeable petrolheads to those with little motoring experience. So how did we do it? We developed an organic strategy focusing on three core areas:

  • Enhancing technical SEO – improving search engines crawl and index of the Halfords site to increase organic visibility.
  • Creating a keyword-driven content strategy to target relevant users at the transactional and research stages of their journey.
  • Optimising on-page UX and layout to encourage conversion and tyre purchases.

Our campaign saw a 15% increase in organic search sessions to tyre pages in 12 months, an 89.5% increase in organic non-brand clicks, and a 45.5% increase in organic sessions to the tyres section of the website.

Thanks to our keyword set, Halfords was third in the tyre organic search market by the end of 2022. Even more impressive, Halfords now holds first place in the organic search market share analysis.
