From medical devices to consumer-facing supplements, all health brands are policed by the restrictions and regulations within their market. And the same applies to advertising within social media.

We’ve mapped out our top four tips to ensure your content delivers on Facebook, passing their on-channel regulations:

1. Content must not imply personal attributes, and this includes medical conditions

2. All health claims must be backed with a reference

3. Advertisers cannot request health information such as insurance

4. Ads can’t contain “before and after” creative, or anything that promoted unexpected or unlikely results. This also includes generating negative self-perception.

We know that the detail in content and your campaign build means everything. Book a call with Robbie Pringle if you’re interested in working with experts to utilise social to meet your brand’s objectives.
