Disruption Derby Terms and Conditions

 

Entry Requirements

  1. This promotion is open for entry between 15th April 2024 – 13th May 2024 inclusive. Entries received outside of this period are invalid.
  2. This promotion is open to all current employees aged 18 or over, working for a drinks manufacturer or hospitality organisation only.
  3. Entries from organisations outside the United Kingdom are permitted.
  4. A business email address must be used to take part and will be checked for its validity.
  5. Only one entry per employee is allowed.
  6. Employees of other organisations may take part in the promotion but will not be able to win any of the prizes on offer and will be subject to having their scores removed from the leaderboard.
  7. Entry into this promotion will be deemed to be acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  8. No purchase is necessary to enter.

How to Play

  1. All participants in the promotion must visit the Disruption Derby platform at www.disruptionderby.com.
  2. All participants are required to enter their contact details into the online form within the lobby environment on their first visit and accept the terms and conditions.
  3. Subsequent visits should not require the participant to enter their details again, unless using private/incognito mode, using a different device or having cleared cookies from their device. If details are required to be entered again, the participant will continue their previous gameplay as long as the same email address is entered.
  4. There are a total of four different games that can be played, these are ‘Health & Safety Nightmare, ‘Going Viral’, ‘Financial Difficulty’ and ‘Executive Decisions’. One game will be released at the start of the promotion with subsequent games released every 7 days. Once released, each game will be permanently available to play.
  5. The objective is for the participant to play each game to earn as many points as possible during the promotional period. Participants scores for each game will be shown within the game leaderboard and their overall total score will be shown on the leaderboard located in the lobby environment.
  6. There is no limit to the number of times any of the games can be played by a participant during the promotional period.
  7. At the end of the promotional period, the participant with the highest overall score as show on the leaderboard will win the grand prize on behalf of the organisation that they are employed by.
  8. Additional spot prizes will be awarded throughout the promotional period by a TrunkBBI representative at its discretion.
  9. The winner of the grand prize will be notified in writing to their email address provided on registration within seven working days of the end of the promotional period. They will be required to claim their prize and provide proof within 14 days of their eligibility as set out in these terms and conditions.
  10. In the event the winning participant is deemed to be not eligible, the next highest score will be chosen as the winner. This process will be continued until an eligible winner is confirmed.
  11. Any technical issues experienced with the Disruption Derby platform during the promotion should be reported to DD@trunkbbi.com. TrunkBBI will endeavour to respond to all emails within 48 hours during weekdays only.

Prizes

  1. The grand prize consists of a credit balance of £10,000 that the winning organisation can use towards any gamification project with a minimum value of £15,000 to be completed by TrunkBBI.
  2. The credit balance can only be used to cover time costs by TrunkBBI and cannot be used for any 3rd party or expense costs.
    The grand prize must be used within six months of the end of the promotional period.
  3. At its discretion, TrunkBBI may allow the grand prize to be credited against a project that is not gamification.
  4. Spot prizes have no minimum or maximum amount or value and will be awarded at TrunkBBI’s discretion. Only one spot prize will be awarded per organisation.
  5. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be sold or auctioned. No cash alternative is available.

Consent and Data Protection

  1. If you take part in the Promotion, we will use any relevant details submitted to administer the Promotion. If you do not consent to such use of your details, please do not agree to take part in the Promotion.
  2. By participating in the campaign, each winning participant acknowledges and consents that their details may be used in reasonable future publicity for marketing or promotional purposes without additional compensation.
  3. Participants details will be kept after the promotional period in accordance with data protection laws and only used if permitted.
  4. Participants may opt out of future communications by either using the unsubscribe option on emails received, or by sending an email to DD@trunkbbi.com with the subject line stating ‘Unsubscribe’.

Rights and Limitations

  1. Disruption Derby and all of its assets are the property of TrunkBBI and protected by applicable laws against unauthorised use.
  2. TrunkBBI reserves the right to disqualify any entrant and/or winner in its absolute discretion for any reason and without notice.
  3. TrunkBBI reserves the right to cancel or alter this promotion at any stage, if deemed necessary in its absolute opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of its control.
  4. TrunkBBI accepts no responsibility for entries not received or delayed for any reason outside of its control.
  5. These terms and conditions are governed by English law and by entering the Promotion, you agree that the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction of any such claims or disputes which arise out of or in connection with this Promotion.
