Trunk were tasked with creating a film that reflected Leeds’ iconic history and celebrated a group of the club’s legendary players. Eddie Gray, Tony Dorigo and Jermaine Beckford were all invited to take part in the project and discuss what makes the club so special to them and its fans.
Trunk wanted to capture what it meant to be a Leeds United player, and each describes their own personal experiences at Elland Road in vivid detail. The three players reflect on the different eras in which they played for the club and how it has changed during that time.
This is just one in a series of ‘Legends’ films that has been created to mark the club’s centenary. As well as the three former players Trunk also interviewed famous fans, former England and current Yorkshire cricketer, Tim Bresnan, and IBF World Featherweight champion, Josh Warrington about their love for Leeds United.
Adam Britton, Managing Director at Trunk, said: “The moment 32Red approached us to be part of this project we knew we wanted to be involved. Leeds United is an iconic football club and to be able to help create a film to celebrate its centenary is something we’re extremely proud of. The team has produced an outstanding piece of content that has received a great deal of praise from the club and its fans.”
32Red, a multi award-winning online casino, is the title sponsor of Leeds United Football Club and Trunk has previously worked with the company on projects for Aston Villa, Derby County, Middlesbrough FC, Preston North End and Rangers FC.
Jack Milner, Sponsorship Manager at 32Red, said: “32Red was delighted to once again team up with Trunk to optimise our partnerships. The Leeds centenary piece was a natural follow-up to last season’s ‘Legends of Ibrox’ feature with Rangers FC and, with both campaigns tremendously well received by both respective fanbases, we look forward to teaming-up with Trunk again in the near future.”
