Managing a portfolio of PR clients, you will work across a range of consumer and B2B brands. You’ll be responsible for driving forward strategies and execution, which influences our clients’ target audience.

As part of your role, you will:

  • Be the go-to point of contact for client requests and queries relating to PR, giving regular updates on activity and results.
  • Use search and insight tools to develop digital PR strategies for clients.
  • Host PR ideation sessions and take part in cross-departmental brainstorms.
  • Pitch and present creative ideas and proposals to existing BBI clients (and new business prospects).
  • Analyse and interpret data to pull put interesting stories and press angles.
  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders, building strong relationships.
  • Work with wider PR team including PR executives and senior team members to deliver results for clients.
  • Write engaging press releases, commentary, case studies and PR communications.
  • Develop new angles, stories, and pitches to promote our clients’ profiles, products and services.
  • Create media lists and relationship building with journalists to gain coverage across digital, print and broadcast media.
  • Outreach to press.
  • Support more junior team members where required.
  • Analyse and report on PR coverage and digital results.
  • Source and maintain good relationships with experts, spokespeople, and creators.

You will have:

  • 2+ years agency experience (essential).
  • Knowledge of how PR impacts upon wider digital goals such as SEO.
  • B2B and D2C experience.
  • Experience of outreaching to press and securing coverage across a range of media titles.
  • Experience of press release and blog post writing.
  • Client management experience including pitching ideas and delivering progress updates.
  • Experience of PR and SEO tools including media monitoring, journalists databases and analytics tool.
  • Organisation and project management skills to manage multiple clients and campaigns.
  • The ability to work with data for reporting and story generation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Creative thinking.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines where required.
  • An interest in the media, keeping up with digital and PR trends.
  • The ability to adapt.
  • The ability to work individually as well as in a team (self-starter).
